Its a Party

She made it to 1 year old and Grandma Nancy threw a great IMG_1453party for her.  A great time was had by all!  Lots of food (No really lots of food!), a balloon man who rocked, cool cupcakes with small sprinkles and lots of family!  But the star of the show was the birthday girl.  So here is a little slide show to remember a very good day.

Daddy's Little Girl

We were so excited last year to have our first child, but I was afraid that she would look nothing like me.  Tam being a dominate gene pool and me not so much.  But she looks like a combo of both of us.  Anyway, to my surprise she likes some of the same things that I do!  The following video is proof.  Enjoy.

Happy Easter

Wow, it was a year ago that Charis was born, its been a very fast and good year.  We miss our Aussie mates but are excited about what God has done for us.  We celebrated Easter at Sierra Grace Fellowship and were delighted to have our family with us too.

But again we are most thankful for Charis, our little gift.   Here she is in all her glory!

Its Spring Time Mate

Fergie and charis

Well, we've had a good week here in California.  Spring has sprung and we've had a visit from Steve Ferguson from Adelaide Australia.  Adelaide has been over 100 F or 35 C for over a month now.  So we'll not complain about the weather here as we get the fire going and are waiting for some shorts weather.

It was great to have Steve, I picked him up in SF and went to Sonoma Valley and we tasted some of the "good oil" as Steve put it.  IMG_1375We then went to an NBA game, the Sacramento Kings vs the Portland Trailblazers.  It was good to go together, but the game was not so good. (Both teams are out of the playoffs and didn't seem very interested in this game.)

Well, after the game we took Steve shopping, the computer store (Fry's), shopping for Keryn and finally to Costco where the $1.50 polish and refillable soda were a big hit.  Finally, we had a great dinner together and shared a good drop from Stonestreet Winery.  Thanks for coming Steve it was great to see ya mate!

Robert Young Winery Here's Robert Young Winery which we visited.  Even Steve admitted California makes some pretty good Cab Sav.  So you can see there's good reason to come and visit.
